  • Medieval and Renaissance Web Access to scholarly resources in all aspects of the Western Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Includes a search engine, subject guides, electronic journals, and links to organizations, institutes, and collections.
  • Gallacia: The online digital library of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France Gallica contains digitized printed materials in both image and text formats: the image format, a photographic facsimile of the original, preserves the visual appearance of the original document; the text format results from the manual typing of the document and allows you to search for terms within the text.
  • Early Modern French Women Writers This site has some information on the criticism of female French Renaissance writers as well as a bit of bibliographical information.

  • Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes An initiative of the University of Alicante, this megasite includes the full text of many literary classics, facsimiles of early works, literary criticism and historical studies, and doctoral dissertations. It also contains portals on Latin America, History, and Children’s Literature, as well as some photographs and teaching resources.
  • Latin American Network Information Center Associated with the Long Institute of Latin American Studies at the University of Texas (UT)-Austin, this site aims “to provide Latin American users with access to academic databases and information services throughout the Internet, and to provide Latin Americanists around the world with access to information on and from Latin America.” It is primarily an index to government, academic, and popular websites, and can be searched by country or by category (such as Business, Government, etc.).
