  • African-American Music Reference Contains over 50,000 pages of biographies, chronologies, sheet music, images, lyrics, liner notes, and discographies chronicling the history and culture of the African American experience through music. It covers blues, jazz, spirituals, civil rights songs, slave songs, minstrelsy, rhythm and blues, gospel, and other genres.
  • Classical Music Reference Library Has over 30,000 pages of reference materials spanning the entire history of Western classical music. Included are Baker's Dictionary of Music, Baker's Biographical Dictionary of Musicians, and Baker's Student Encyclopedia of Music. This release includes 26,774 essays and images from 22 sources.
  • Classical Scores Library provides the PDF files of 9,258 scores of many of the major works of western classical music, from the Renaissance to the present, for study and analysis. The scores can be printed, and associated recordings from Classical Music Library will be displayed so you can play them as you study the score.
  • Garland Encyclopedia of World Music Online Contains overviews of world regions’ musical heritage, traditions and themes, and descriptions of specific musical genres, practices, and performances. Articles include photographs, drawings, maps, and musical examples, with indexing and audio links.
