MedlinePlus is a resource for finding consumer health information on a wide range of health topics. It is produced by the National Library of Medicine and the National Institute of Health. MedlinePlus has interactive patient tutorials, extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, and latest health news.
Maryland Health → Go Local is a directory of local health-related services and programs serving the citizens of Maryland
Reviews medical news stories from popular sources (newspapers, magazines, television) and assesses the accuracy of reporting and the adequacy of support in the media stories.

This is the world's largest medical library, collecting materials in all areas of the health sciences. NLM gives access to health related links and provides a 24-hour MEDLINE search service.
This agency is responsible for government medical research and its site provides links to health information covered by NIH-sponsored research. Also included are links to all the Institutes and Offices that comprise the NIH, and grants and research training supplied by NIH.
This site is a compilation of federal government agencies, most of which are large aggregators of health-related statistics.
Please do not confuse this site with MEDLINE. It allows the researcher to search MEDLINE, but also provides access to health and medical dictionaries, directories, libraries, and a classified list of health topics.
