*Sociological Abstracts International coverage of social and behavioral sciences literature. Useful for research in substance abuse and addiction, women's studies, economic development and other facets of sociology. (1952 - present).

*Social Services Abstracts Information on areas related to social work and community development. Useful for research on gerontology, abuse, health policy, social welfare and more. (1979-present).

*Social Sciences Citation Index Citations and abstracts of scholarly articles in the behavioral sciences. Also includes information for political science, women's studies, social work and other social sciences. (1956-present).

*Social Science Research Network (SSRN) The SSRN eLibrary consists of two parts: an Abstract Database containing abstracts on working papers and forthcoming papers and an Electronic Paper Collection containing over 143,400 full text documents in pdf format. Much of this information is gray literature, not published peer-reviewed journals. The eLibrary also includes the research papers of a number of Fee Based Partner Publications which should always be checked through Find EJournals on the library website.

*Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) Extensive collection of social science data that can be downloaded for research and study.

*Journal Citation Reports (available through ISI Web of Knowledge) Journal citation data including most frequently cited, highest impact and largest journals in a field from JCR Science Edition 2004-2006 and JCR Social Sciences Edition 2004-2006.

*PsycINFO Contains chapters from over 1,000 books published by APA and other publishers. Includes most scholarly titles published by APA from 1953 - 2005 as well as more than 700 books of historical significance in psychology.

*ERIC Citations to education journal articles and non-journal resources including theses, dissertations, and reports (1966-present).

*CQ Researcher In-depth reports on current topics, including social issues, health care, politics and the environment. (1991 - present).

*Kluwer Online (SpringerLink) Includes journals, books and reference works in the humanities, sciences, technology, mathematics, architecture and more. Also useful for medical and business ethics and behavioral science research.

*Oxford Journals Online Access Oxford journals in a variety of subject areas: humanities, law, life science, math, physical sciences, medicine and social sciences. Search or browse by journal title.

*ScienceDirect: Elsevier Journals Covers journals in physical sciences and engineering, health sciences, life sciences and social sciences and humanities. Includes backfile of 43 psychology journals dating from 1936. Also includes books, handbooks and some reference works.

*JSTOR Search and browse scholarly articles in a wide range of disciplines, including the physical sciences, social sciences, art, and literature. Also includes images from ARTstor.

*Academic Search Premier Includes general interest and scholarly articles in a variety of areas including the physical sciences, social sciences and humanities. (1990-present).

*Academic OneFile Articles in a variety of subject areas, including technology, the arts, theology and more, from scholarly journals and general periodicals.
